Micro Futures Calculators
Four free calculators built on the same verified numbers as the guides: exchange-defined contract specs, and broker figures that carry their as-of date in every cell. Everything runs in your browser — nothing is stored or sent.
Position Size Calculator
Account size, risk %, and stop distance in — whole contracts out. Floors the result so a stop-out never exceeds the risk you planned.
Size a trade →Tick Value Calculator
Tick size × multiplier for all six micros, and any move converted from points to ticks to dollars.
Do the tick math →P&L Calculator
Entry, exit, side, contracts — gross P&L plus net after a round trip at dated per-side broker costs.
Price a trade →Margin Calculator
Dated intraday margins per broker (NinjaTrader 11/13/2025; Plus500 & Optimus 2026-06-03) multiplied by your size.
Check the bond →How the calculators fit together
They mirror the order of a real pre-trade checklist. The tick value calculator establishes what a move is worth — the foundation every other number stands on. The position size calculator turns a stop distance and a risk budget into a whole-contract count, rounding down. The P&L calculator prices the planned trade, gross and net of dated broker costs. And the margin reference confirms the broker's performance bond actually fits the account — a separate constraint from risk, and the one beginners most often confuse with it.
Every spec figure (tick sizes, tick values, multipliers) is exchange-defined and stable since May 2019. Every broker figure (margins, commissions) is volatile, so it renders with the date it was published or fetched — the same discipline the guides follow. The deeper context lives there: the full spec table, broker commissions, and day-trading margins.
